Sri Chathurveda Vidhya Ganapathi Trust (Regd.) was founded in 2012 by our visionary founder Sri R. Kamakoti. This public charitable trust has two objectives Veda Rakshanam and Gau Samrakshanam.

As a part of the Gau Samakshanam initiative, the Sri Krishna Gausthan was created. Today this gaushala houses more than 100 gaumatas – all desi breeds.

Under the ambit of Veda Rakshanam, the Sri Chathurveda Vidhya Ganapathi Veda Shastra Maha Vidyasthan (SCVG-VSMV) was formed in 2012 with the primary aim of imparting the sacred knowledge of the Vedas to eligible children. This crown jewel is a source of pride and inspiration to everyone associated with it (including stakeholders and staff). There are about 300 vidhyarthis who are being taught 4 Vedas and 6 Shakas.

Under the visionary leadership of our Founder & Managing Trustee, Sri R. Kamakoti, SCVG–VSMV has blossomed into one of the largest and most esteemed Veda Patasalas in the nation. While imparting Vedic education to deserving children remains our foremost mission, we recognized that this alone would not be sufficient. To truly empower our vidhyarthis, it is essential to nurture their potential, groom their character, and equip them with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in the modern world.

With this purpose, we established an Academic Wing within our Patashala—an initiative designed to provide our vidhyarthis with the same academic foundation as their peers in mainstream schools, ensuring they remain well-prepared to meet the challenges of contemporary life while staying rooted in our timeless tradition.

Purpose of the Academic Department

To complement Vedic excellence with modern academics, the Academic Department was started in 2019. It ensures our vidhyarthis are well-rounded, confident, and on par with mainstream students. In 2024, it was named the ‘Jaya Maruti Academic Wing’, marking a milestone in our 12-year journey of holistic education.

A Few Words from the Academic Wing Lead

In the academic year 2021–22, we embarked on a bold and ambitious journey, beginning with just two subjects and two dedicated teachers. Although we faced uncertainties and numerous questions at the outset, our determination was unwavering. With only 20–30% of our focus allocated to academics, our vision remained clear: to ensure that our vidhyarthis, despite any interruptions in their academic journey, would stand on par with their peers in conventional schools.

Together, we have achieved something remarkable. We have not only met but exceeded our expectations—ensuring our vidhyarthis are not merely keeping pace, but truly excelling in their academic pursuits. This strong foundation now inspires us to aim higher, set greater goals, and continue our journey toward excellence.

This careful segregation of vidhyarthis ensures that each student is placed in the right class for his learning curve, enabling effective progress without undue peer pressure. Each vidhyarthi advances at his own pace, making education a supportive journey rather than a burden.

With a limited number of students per class, teachers can provide individual attention and specialised care, creating a more nurturing environment than regular modern schools.

About Academic Teachers

The Jaya Maruti Academic Wing of SCVG-VSMV consists of 11 teachers. They are led by Smt. Joseini Kumaraguru who has done her B.E. in Printing technology and a B. Ed. in Mathematics.

Where Creativity Meets Knowledge

Inaugural Academic Exhibitions & Competitions

With the holy blessings of our Acharyas, and in just our third academic year (the twelfth year since our institution’s inception), we proudly hosted our first-ever academic exhibitions and competitions. This milestone, achieved in such a short span, is a true testament to the dedication of our teachers, the vibrant spirit of our vidhyarthis, and the unwavering support of our stakeholders.
The exhibitions featured an inspiring range of innovative and educational models, reflecting the creativity, intelligence, and hard work of our vidhyarthis. Some of the highlights included:
This event not only celebrated knowledge but also encouraged curiosity, collaboration, and confidence among our vidhyarthis — paving the way for many more such academic milestones in the years ahead.
In addition to these captivating models, we hosted stimulating competitions that provided our vidhyarthis with an excellent platform to showcase their knowledge and skills.

Progress Tracking and Reporting

We conduct quarterly meetings with parents and provide periodic reports to the Veda Vathiyars. The results of all monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual examinations of every vidhyarthi in each subject are carefully compared. Whenever a decline in performance is observed, corrective measures are immediately initiated.
Additionally, results are analysed across subjects for each student to track performance patterns and take remedial steps wherever needed. All examination outcomes are shared in the teachers’ WhatsApp groups and are also submitted to our academic lead for review and guidance.

The Academic Wing and the ISO Initiative

We have initiated the process of obtaining ISO certification for SCVG-VSMV. As part of this endeavour, the academic wing comes under the ambit of the certification. The following activities are being meticulously documented and audited to ensure compliance and adherence to ISO standards:

Our academic staff have been working tirelessly to align their efforts with these requirements, laying the foundation for excellence through structured systems and quality assurance.
