Gau Samrakshanam

One of the primary objectives of the SCVG Trust ® is Gau Samrakshanam – to protect and nurture the gaumatas. Our gaushala, Sri Krishna Goshtan houses more than 100 gaumatas of desi origin.

About Our Gaushala

Established in 2012, Sri Krishna Goshtan is among the many well-maintained gaushalas in the country. In our gaushala, we rear gaumatas of Desi origin only. In 2012 we started our gaushala with one gaumata and one calf. Today our gaushala is home to more than 100 desi gaumatas. The gaumatas at our gaushala are of different varieties/breeds – they are

Special Appeal - Shifting Our Gaushala to The “Vedashreni’ Campus

Our existing campus which houses our gaushala is located in the midst of a residential layout. Due to houses coming up in this layout, the grazing area and the movement space for cattle is shrinking day by day. Hence we have acquired a large paddy field in the vicinity of our campus as a part of our expansion plan. We intend to move the entire gaushala to this new campus to offer more movement space and grazing area for our gamatas.

What your contribution will enable:

We solicit your generosity and support to create a bigger and better gaushala for our sacred gaumatas.
