1. Vidhya dhanam

This scheme is to sponsor one student’s holistic expenses for his full study term at our Vidyasthan. This includes: Education – both vedic and non-vedic, full-fledged food, shelter – with all necessities, complete health cover and clothing (All offered FREE by the Trust with zero contribution from parents).

Your support will go a long way in educating an aspirant to lead his vedic life throughout.

2. Veda parayanam

To invoke positive vibrations and to bring prosperity at homes, work places, places of worship and as part of shuba karyakramams/home events, veda mantras are recited on desired dates. As an institution with large student base pursuing their vedic studies, we do undertake such vedic chanting as our offering. We do offer prarthanas and sankalpam for the well-being of our wishers during such chanting and perform vedoktha aashirwadams.

For such chanting, one pundit accompanied by 8 senior vidyarthis will visit your homes engaging a private vehicle and perform VEDA Parayanam for an hour. Offering home prepared food to this group of veda vidyarthis is a followed practice.

3. Veda Vidyarthis’ Samaradhanai

This scheme is to sponsor the cost of one meal (LUNCH) for all our vidyarthis and pundits on any day of your personal significance like birthdays of your self or your family members, wedding days or remembrance days of your ancestors or any other event days of your kith and kin.

The visiting kartha and his family members can also perform pooja to our gaumathas on the day of samaradhanai

Prior scheduling is a pre-requisite. We prefer your physical presence for performing sankalpam, for aabhojanam and seeking vedoktha aashirvadam. In case of your inability to be present, sankalpam particulars may be forwarded for our performance on your behalf. If desired, a video based / telephonic sankalpam can also be sought wherein our pundit will call you up around lunch time and perform sankalpam virtually.

It is expected that the visiting kartha and his/her relatives come to patashala in traditional attire.

It is preferred that the kartha and his/her family members (upto 5 members) have their bhojan at the patashala itself as part of the samaradhanai.

The event will logically conclude with vedoktha asheervadam by our vidyarthis and receiving veda matha prasadam

4. Mid-morning fruit bowl

This acts as a healthy filler between breakfast and lunch for our kids.

As an institution housing large number of kids in their youth, they remaining healthy and physically fit is a pre-requisite. To aid this, many sport activities - both indoor and outdoor – are encouraged at our patashala. An hour of sports time is dedicated in their daily schedule.

The Trust seeks your support by way of sponsoring sports items either in kind or as cash support for procuring them.

8. Gau samrakshanam

SCVG maintains a Gaushala with 100 desi gaumathas. Well-wishers are requested to take part in Gau samrakshanam in many ways. One of them is to sponsor the cost of gaushala maintenance per day either fully or partially. This is towards average expenses being incurred by our Trust for Gaushala maintenance per day. 9. Gaumatha adoption

This scheme is for adopting one gaumatha (with or without her calf) and bearing her expenses. This also includes sankalpam and Gau pooja on the day of the birth star of the sponsor every month Rs. 6000 per month

11. Feeding all our gaumathas

This scheme is for feeding of all gaumathas on any day of personal significance. This may be done with green grass, hay or/and fodder like rice husk, oil cake etc A van (1,400 kgs in total@ Rs. 3.50 per kg) of green grass costing about Rs. 5000

Hay – Rs. 25,000 per load which is the feed for 3 days

12. Construction assistance

As an institution which is constantly upgrading its infrastructure facilities to facilitate seamless learning and to improve living standards of our inmates, we look forward to resource support in all kinds viz., financial, professional and in kinds.

The intent of this scheme is to seek your support towards construction assistance on above forms.

Our Trust will be announcing new projects that are envisaged from time to time and projects that are in work-in-progress state with relevant support requirements for your participation.

Cost of construction per sq.ft ranges between Rs. 2,000 to Rs.2,500. You may opt to sponsor areas as per your preference.

Specific offerings may be checked once prior-hand.

We do accept offerings in kind, furnishings that are in working condition.

13. Support for our Corpus Fund

As an institution on its growth phase, we look forward to funding support from like-minded individuals and inclined corporate houses in the form of endowments and by including us in their social gestures, for sustaining our routine operations and plan for our future expansions.

With our current strengths, we incur an average outflow of Rs. 80,000/- a day. This is expected to grow to a Lakh of Rupees per day very soon. Your support will be earmarked and engraved to remain in the history of our institutional progress ever.

Such an endowment may be offered in fond remembrance of your ancestors or in celebration of a happy event in your family or in commemoration of any special day of significance in your life term.

Your contribution towards Corpus fund can be made in two ways:

1. The fund may continue to remain as a fixed deposit (to a quantum commensurate to support your intended scheme)  in your/your family members’ name and you tendering a standing instruction to your bank to credit the proceeds (bank interests) into our Trust account, in support of one or many of our schemes.

2. A lumpsum amount (in multiples of Rs. 50,000 and above) being credited to our Trust’s bank account and our trust considering this quantum as a permanent endowment to execute one or many of your desired schemes on intended date(s) of your preference every year. The Trust on its part will formally acknowledge the receipt of your quantum contribution and issue an endowment certificate to this effect.

14. Vasthrams for Vidyarthis

The traditional attire being worn by patashala vidyarthis are dhotis, towels along with undergarments. In addition, during their everyday sports period of 1 hour and during Yoga hours, we allow them to wear trousers and t-shirts with our Patashala logo and student roll number duly printed/stitched. Offering vashtrams/normal wear will be a gesture we seek support from interested donors. Rs.750 per set per vidyarthi towards traditional attire

15. Temple Nitya Aaradhana

Our Patashala campus has got a temple with Sri Shruthi Kamakshi as our presiding deity with sannidhis for Sri Chandramouleeswara swami, Sri Chaturveda vidhya Ganapathi swami, Sri Balamurugan, Acharyaal’s sannidhis (for Sri Adi Sankarar, Sri Maha Periyava, Sri Vedavyasar and Sri Yagnyavalkya Maharishi) and Prakoshta devatas in addition to utsava moorthams.

Nitya aaradhanas are being performed by our senior vidyarthis with the guidance of our Adhyapaks. Special abhishekams, pooja, sahasranama parayanams, vishesha alankarams and naivedayams are also being performed on spiritually significant dinams.

Sevarthis (our well-wishers) can opt to undertake this nitya aaradana on days of their special/personal significance like birthdays, wedding anniversaries of theirs or their family members by sponsoring that day’s Pooja expenses.

We shall, on receiving intimation, perform sankalpam and offer prarthanas for you/your family’s well-being along with adding any specific renderings/prarthanas in the sankalpam and despatch Pooja Prasadams to your home.

Your family members are most welcome to participate either in person or virtually through Google Meet, Zoom etc. for sankalpam.

As a vedic institution with hundreds of vidyarthis rendering vedic hymns day-in and day-out, any prarthanas offered from our Patashala premise carry added significance. There have been 100s of such prarthanas getting rendered in our temple prayer hall by our vedic scholars and innocent veda vidyarthis on behalf of several families.
This scheme allows you to perform special homams like Aayushya homam, Navagraha homam, Ganapathi homam, Sudarshana homam, Mritunjaya homam etc at our Vedashram on your family’s behalf.We shall, on receiving intimation, perform sankalpam and offer prarthanas for you/your family’s well-being along with adding any specific renderings/prarthanas in the sankalpam and despatch Homa Prasadams to your home.Your family members are most welcome to participate either in person or virtually through Google Meet, Zoom etc. for sankalpam.
